Wm. Lackey was severely injured about the arm and shoulder Tuesday evening trying to stop a runaway team.

Isaac Pecare was agreeably surprised last Monday by a visit from his brother A.J. Frank and wife, of northern California, who stopped for a few days on their way east. Mr. Pecare has not seen his brother in 30 years.

Two tramps were arrested Sunday as original packages.

Agnes Brown from Newton visited her many friends in Peabody last week.
