Mr. and Mrs. Oran Graham of rural Peabody are the parents of a son born Feb. 2 at Bethel Hospital, Newton. He has been given the name Rodger Allen.

June Litton of Peabody won the women’s singles title in the Newton City Tournament, which wound up last week.

Fanny Baker, who was days away from being 100 years of age, died early Wednesday morning at Peabody Memorial Nursing Home.
