K-15 north of 340th Road

Joel Janzen, 74, 9704 10th Ave., Tacoma, Wash., was driving north on K-15 when he struck a deer at 1:21 p.m. Oct. 2. Lucille Janzen, 72, same address was a passenger in the vehicle. Janzen was driving a 2012 Nissan passenger car registered to Thrifty Car Rental, 1 Nassau Circle, Kansas City, Mo.

330th Road east of Limestone Road

Brent Potocnik, 24, 317 N. Roosevelt St., Tampa, was driving west on 330th Road when a tire blew out causing him to lose control of his truck and enter the east ditch. No injuries were reported in the accident. Potocnik was driving his 1998 Ford pickup truck.

U.S. 56/77 north of 300th Road

James Dupuis, 39, 1607 Lantern Lane Court, Andover, struck a deer driving north on U.S. 56/77 at 5:45 a.m. Oct. 1. Dupuis was driving his 2013 Ford passenger car.

U.S. 77 north of 190th Road

Eric Olsen, 45, 501 Lombard St., Lincolnville, struck a deer driving south on U.S. 77 at 5:15 a.m. Sept. 28. Olsen was driving his 2010 Toyota passenger car.

290th Road west of Nighthawk Road

Genesis Rudolph, 17, 3015 Timber Road, Lincolnville, and Dana Newton, 50, 500 S. Duncan St., Newton, were driving in opposite directions across a narrow bridge at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 30 on 290th Road. The two vehicles clipped left mirrors. Rudolph was driving a 1999 Ford pickup truck registered to David Rudolph, same address. Newton was driving her 2008 Chevrolet pickup truck. Rebecca Newton, 46, same address was a passenger with Dana Newton.

U.S. 50 east of 120th Road

Robert Bell, 53, 2050 200th Road, Cottonwood Falls, struck a deer driving west on U.S. 50 at 3:45 a.m. Sept. 29. Bell was driving his 1995 Toyota passenger car.

2200 block of Remington Road

Serena Eldridge, 31, 630 SE 3rd St., Newton lost control of her vehicle while driving south on Remington Road, entered the west ditch, and overturned the passenger car at 3:50 p.m. Sept. 30. Emily Newton, 22, 1002 W. 5th St., Newton, was a passenger. Eldridge and Newton were each possibly injured, but no ambulance transports were listed in the report. Eldridge was driving a 1998 Buick passenger car registered to Ron McGlachlin, 315 W. 8th St., Newton.
