According to law enforcement reports released Saturday:

US-50 and Sunflower Rd.

A 2009 Ford Fusion driven by Ronald D. Treat, 46, Wichita, rear-ended a 2003 Mercury Sable driven by Angela Dillon, 62, Newton, when she slowed to turn at 4:50 p.m Nov. 13.

Indigo Rd. north of 170th Rd.

A 2008 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Marna Miller, 39, Herington, struck and killed a coyote at 6:05 p.m. Nov. 13.

US-77 north of 250th Rd.

Arpin Alcid, 64, Manhattan, hit and killed a deer with a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban owned by Clint Hibbs, also of Manhattan, at 9:32 p.m. Nov. 13.

US-77 north of 270th Rd.

Martha Liptak, 61, Manhattan, hit and killed a deer with her 2014 Ford Focus at 5:40 p.m. Nov. 14.

Limestone Rd. north of 2nd St., Tampa.

Max Svoboda, 16, Tampa, reported falling asleep and striking a utility pole with his 2000 Chevrolet S10 at 3 p.m. Nov. 13. A utility pole wire was damaged.

US-77 south of 290th Rd.

Patrick Thibodeau, 34, Herington, hit a deer while driving a 2008 Ford Explorer owned by his employer, the City of Herington at 7 p.m. Nov. 13.

Indigo Rd. north of 70th Rd.

Maciana Root, 21, Minneapolis, Kansas, hit a deer with a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado, owned by Dorothea Quiring, Henderson, Nebraska, at 11 p.m. Nov. 13.

US-56 east of Kanza Rd.

Brian Bowers, 29, Ottawa, hit a deer with his 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 13.

Old Mill Rd. south of 40th Rd.

Peabody grandmother Betty Ford, 62, was chasing another car when she lost control of her 2014 Ford Focus at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 5, sheriff’s deputy Travis Wilson reports. As reported in our news story Nov. 11, she and her grandsons, Joshua Henderson, 17, and Taylor Henderson, 18, were injured in the accident. Ford was charged with failure to properly stop at a stop sign and speeding.

K-15 east of Yarrow Rd.

A 2005 Nissan Murano driven by Janis Maggard, 61, Marion, struck a deer at 7:20 a.m. Nov. 18.

K-15 south of 280th Rd.

County sheriff’s van transporting 26-year-old Ashley Loomis struck a deer at 5:46 p.m. Nov. 17. The 2013 Dodge Caravan was driven by employee, John Pritchard, 49, of Abilene.

K-15 south of 190th Rd.

Tara Lehrman, 33, Goessel, struck a deer at 5:50 p.m. Nov. 16. in her 2004 Honda Pilot, which had to be towed.

160th Rd. west of Quail Creek Rd.

Blinded by dust from another vehicle, Breanna Hett, 25, Marion, missed a bend in the road and drove her 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee into a guardrail at 2 p.m. Nov. 8. The vehicle had to be towed.

Marion Reservoir parking lot

Joan Rodney, Junction City, told sheriff’s deputies her 2010 Ford Escape was damaged while parked at Marion Reservoir at 11 a.m. Nov. 7. Investigator Wilma Mueller said Rodney could not recall which lot the car was parked in.

K-168 north of US-56

A 2004 Honda Odyssey driven by Janeann McIrvin, 67, Lehigh, struck a deer at 10:09 p.m. Nov. 17.

K-15 north of 140th Rd.

A 2008 Saturn Aura driven by Mary Wiard, 70, Wichita, struck a deer at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18, deploying the airbags. The vehicle was towed.

Indigo Rd. south of 150th Rd.

Benjamin Gardner, 22, Hillsboro, was injured when he drove a 2008 Mazda CX7 off the roadway at 8:13 a.m. Nov. 8. Investigator Wilma Mueller’s report says Gardner told her he fell asleep, and she suspected he had been drinking. Her report says results of a blood test are pending. Gardner was charged with not wearing a seatbelt. He was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital. The car, owned by Michael Gardner, of the same address, was towed.
