On March 21, Sally Ammeter brought Angela Bunger, Mitchell and Colin to the Ammeter farm from Manhattan to celebrate LaVonne Ammeter’s birthday. Sally spent some time in Peabody with her mother, Opal Craney, and then they all went to El Dorado to eat lunch.
After they returned to the farm, Stan Ammeter stopped by to visit. Sally and the Bungers returned to Manhattan.
The following day Sally called LaVonne to tell her that Myron had gone back to the hospital for tests, but reported that he checked out fine.
On March 24, Stan took LaVonne to Ellsworth to Melody and Steve Magette’s to spend the day and celebrate great-granddaughter Alison Kantuck’s second birthday.
Attending were Amanda and Bryan Kantuck, Bethany, Reagan, and Alison from Colorado Springs, Colo; Eric and Kristin Magette, Matthew and Rachel of Eudora; Adam and Crystal Magette and Lucas, Angela Bunger and Colin, and Sally Ammeter, all of Manhattan; Kevin and Emily Haxton, Avery and Elyse, and Melody and Steve Magette of Ellsworth.
Also attending were Bryan Kantuck’s family from western Kansas, their daughter and husband from El Dorado, Stan Ammeter, and LaVonne Ammeter. Stan returned home in the afternoon, but LaVonne stayed until Monday.
On March 25, the Magette’s and their guests attended church and then had lunch together. Everyone had a great time celebrating Alison’s birthday.
Melody Magette brought LaVonne back to the farm on March 26 and returned to Ellsworth. The Kantuck’s returned to Colorado.
