Lunch guests of Ronnie and Patti Gaines on Aug. 3 were Jim and Sally Abel, Vicky Gantz, Jean Gaines, and Shelley Harper. They all attended the reception for Marie Clark’s 90th birthday. In the evening, Ty and Kim Gaines and Brooke stopped by. Brooke stayed to spend the week with her grandparents.
Renferd and Wanda Koehn and Lonnie and Vernon and Judy Koehn attended the wedding of Brianna Ensz and Jared Regehr on Aug. 4 in Hillsboro. Brianna is the daughter of Glenn and Bonnie Ensz and a niece of Vernon Koehn.
Cathy Foote of Manhattan visited her parents, Marvin and Sherol Nightengale, Aug. 3.
Bonnie Plummer took her grandson, Austin Bidwell, on Aug. 2 to Wichita to shop for school supplies and eat lunch together.
Al and Bonnie Plummer joined his siblings, Ron and June Ford, Kay Hall, and Ben and Jean Plummer for supper Aug. 3 in Wichita.
Dinner guests of Mary Langenegger and Gary on Aug. 4 were Glen and Daytha Langenegger, Andy and Amber Hansen, Sam and Laura Heimig and Anna, Greg and Zeola Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.
Joyce Kyle visited with afternoon callers Steve and Melody Ammeter Magett of Ellsworth on Aug. 4.
Many from the Burns community attended Marie Clark’s 90th birthday party on Aug. 3 at the Burns Community Center. Marie’s houseguests were her brother, Bruce Ehmke, and Steve and Nancy Rife, Frank and Mary Ellen Gedart and Jason, all of Ohio. Others calling throughout the weekend were Mary Ehmke, Bonni Bach, Don and Dana Ehmke, and Tom and Claudia Ehmke. The birthday reception was well-attended.
