Sayers family celebrates Sandy’s birthday

Lawrence and Lois Sayers took their daughter, Sandy, to Newton to celebrate her birthday Sept. 8. On Sept. 9, Bruce, Megan, and Jessica Sayers were dinner guests of Lawrence and Lois to celebrate Sandy’s birthday.

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale called on Brad and Diane Nightengale in El Dorado the afternoon of Sept. 9.

Dalen and Beth Koehn were dinner guests Sept. 9 of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, and Carolee.

Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to the Kansas State Fair Sept. 9 to watch their granddaughter, Brooke Gaines, participate in the Pedal Tractor Pull. Others attending were her grandparents, the Warhursts, Dusty Gaines, and Kenny and Roma Koehn, and her parents, Ty and Kim Gaines.

Joyce Kyle attended the Eden Youth Group Sing-Along the evening of Sept. 6. She called on Kathleen Brenzikofer the afternoon of Sept. 9.

The First Mennonite Senior Fellowship met at the home of Mary Langenegger the evening of Sept. 11. Attending were Pastor Arlen and Mary Busenitz, Emily, and Carson, Dan and Alice Stucky, Sadie Decker, Mike and Larry Spachek, and Joyce Kyle.
