On the evening of April 19, Josh and Ashley Wiebe, Seth, Faith, and Devon, attended the wedding of her brother, Jake Thiessen to Mattie Wonsetler at Fulton Valley Farm at Towanda.
Ben and Jean Plummer of El Dorado visited Al and Bonnie Plummer in the afternoon on April 25. The next morning Al and Bonnie left for Nixa, Mo to help Kayme Voelker celebrate her birthday. They enjoyed visiting Martin and Kayme, Allyson and Abby. They got to see Allyson inducted into the National Honor Society. They returned home April 29.
Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie and Carolee attended the funeral of Renferd’s uncle April 24.
Dalen and Bethany Koehn were April 27 dinner guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie and Carolee.
Sandy Sayers visited her parents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers on April 27.
Gloria Handle of Baxter Springs and Amy Cool and children of Glasco came to the home of Marie Clark on April 26. They were all over-night guests. They visited on Saturday and the Cools returned home. Gloria spent the night with her mother and they attended a baby shower for Mr. and Mrs. Collin Stucky at the home of Melissa Green in Newton on April 28. Gloria returned to Baxter Springs after the shower.
Joyce Kyle met Lila Unruh of Durham in Marion April 25 and they enjoyed lunch together.
The Burns Countryside Church Friends Fellowship met at the home of Dan and Alice Stucky the evening of April 30. Attending were Pastor Arlen and Mary Busenitz and family, Sadie Decker, Mike and Larry Spachek, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.
