Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Kearney, Mo. May 30. They watched their granddaughter, Allie Hess, play in the Missouri State Soccer Tournament May 31 and June 1. They report that Allie’s team took third place.
On May 31, Peggy Van der Weg went to the home of her mother, Marie Clark, and took her to El Dorado for a dental appointment. They did some shopping before returning home.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Dusty Gaines, and Terry and Deanne Warhurst went to Emporia the evening of June 1 to watch their granddaughter and niece, Brooke Gaines, perform in a dance recital.
Esta Hall and Joyce Kyle attended Thelma Warkentine’s funeral in Peabody the morning of May 30.
Joyce Kyle went to Matfield Green June 1 to the burial service for Jewell Swift of Satanta, formerly of Matfield Green. Jewell was the husband of Kay Seibel Swift.
Joyce Kyle called on Betty Kyle at Peabody Care Center in the afternoon on June 2.
