Burns Senior Citizens and friends had their monthly potluck dinner Aug. 14 at the Burns Community Building.
Doni Rogers asked the blessing and everyone saluted the flag. Gayla Ratzlaff gave a most interesting and informative program on long-term insurance.
James Olberding called the meeting to order. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Dale and Tootsie Snelling announced that they would celebrate their 52nd anniversary on Aug. 20.
Beverly Morgan told about the centerpiece for the Senior Fair in September. She read an article about telemarketers and one about “How to know you are getting old.”
