June 29 — Marion City Library Garden Tour, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., beginning at the library. The tour features three gardens in Marion and one at Marion County Lake.

June 29 — Sixth annual Bob Phillips Memorial Texas Hold’em Tournament, 7 p.m., Peabody American Legion. Call Allie Morris at (620) 381-4362 for more information.

July 3 — Alumni dance, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Peabody American Legion, $5 entry fee. Music by Blitzkrieg Muzik. Must be 21 to enter.

July 5 and 6 — Carnival, 7 to 11 p.m. Peabody City Park.

July 6 — Dance featuring Jason Callahan at Peabody American Legion.

July 13 — Women’s Ranch Rodeo, 7 p.m., Marion County Fairgrounds, Hillsboro.

July 20 — Dog show, 8 a.m., Marion County Fairgrounds, Hillsboro.

July 20 — Ag Challenge of Champions, 2 p.m., Marion County Fairgrounds, Hillsboro.

July 21 — Susie McEntire Gospel concert, 8 p.m., USD 408 Sports and Aquatic Center.

July 22 — 4-H Horse Show, 6 p.m., Marion County Fairgrounds, Hillsboro.

July 27 — Demolition Derby, 7 p.m., Marion County Fair.

Aug. 2-4 — Country Threshing Days in Goessel, more than 100 exhibitors of antique agricultural equipment and other events.

Wednesdays — Marion Farmers Market, 5 to 7 p.m. at Central Park.

Thursdays — Hillsboro Farmers Market, 5 to 7 p.m. at Schaeffler House Museum at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Jefferson Street.

Saturdays — Marion Farmers Market, 9 a.m. to noon at Liberty Park.

Saturdays — Doyle Valley Farmers Market, 8 to 10 a.m. at Santa Fe Park in Peabody.
