Thursday

Peabody Township Library’s summer reading program for children toddler through fifth grade begins. Free sessions including story time, activities, and games will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursdays through June 25.

Tuesday

Dinosaurs, Egyptian mummies, and a military history exhibit will be featured in a Peabody-Burns Recreation Commission trip for ages 8 and older to Museum of World Treasures in Wichita. Admission is $6 for all ages. A bus leaves Peabody-Burns High School at 9:15 a.m. and return at 3 p.m.

Wednesday

A Recreation Commission trip to Exploration Place, Wichita, leaves PBHS at 9 a.m. and returns at 3 p.m. Admission is $7 for ages 3 to 11 and $13 for ages 12 and older. Price includes all exhibits and one show in the Cyber Dome Theater. An adult must accompany a child younger than 8. Participants are asked to take a sack lunch or money to buy lunch. A bus leaves PBHS at 9 a.m. and returns at 3 p.m.
