Thursday

9:30 to 11 a.m. — Summer reading program at Peabody Township Library for toddlers through fifth grade. No charge.

Friday

After lunch — Mary Olsen, who represents Marion County in the Silver-Haired Legislature, will address Peabody seniors at Peabody Senior Center.

Sunday

After morning worship — Farewell covered dish luncheon at Peabody United Methodist Church for Pastor David and Kathrine Ragland. The church is urging community members to bring a favorite dish and join church members in saying goodbye to the Raglands.

Wednesday

8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Peabody Recreation Commission trip for ages 4 and older to Kenwood Cove Aquatic Park in Salina. Admission is $4 for ages 4 to 17 is $4 (age 8 and younger must be accompanied by an adult) and $6 for age 18 and older. Participants must have a swimsuit with no metal or hard plastic parts to use water slides. Those attending will need to bring a lunch or money to buy lunch. Bus will leave Peabody-Burns High School at 8:45 a.m. and return at 4 p.m.

11:45 a.m. — Birthday dinner at Peabody Senior Center for those with June birthdays.
