Friday

Fall sports meeting at 6:30 p.m. in Brown Gymnasium. Turn in forms for sports physicals, insurance, and concussion information. Informative talks by the coaches. For parents of middle and high school students participating in football, volleyball, and cheerleading.

Recognition of V-J Day at Peabody Senior Center. People with memories or stories of the event are invited to attend and share what they know immediately following the 11:45 lunch. Reservations needed to eat lunch at the center. Call (620) 983-2226.

Peabody-Burns Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization meets at 5:30 in PBES library.

Open house at 6 p.m. for PBES pre-school through fifth grade students and parents.

Sixth grade orientation at 6:30 p.m. for PBMS sixth graders.

Open house at 7 p.m. for PBMS and PBHS 6th-to12th-grade students and parents.
