Summer reading program; 9:30 a.m. at Peabody Township Library; for toddlers to fifth-grade students.

Free swim day, 1 to 5 p.m. Anyone living in Peabody-Burns school district admitted to Peabody Municipal Pool at no charge.

Saturday

Peabody-Burns Recreation Commission trip for ages 10 and older to 81 Speedway, for championship dirt track racing. Admission $5 for 11 and younger, $10 for 12 and older. Bus leaves high school at 5:30 p.m. and returns at 10:30 p.m.

Sunday

Peabody Cruise, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., downtown Peabody. Motorcyles and vintage cars, food vendors and music. Businesses open with 10 a.m. church service in 100 block of N. Walnut St.

Monday

Rec commission trip to Dart Warz indoor foam dart battlefield. Bring dart blaster or use one of theirs. Ages 10 and older, $16 per person for two hours of action. Bring sack lunch or money to buy lunch. Bus leaves high school at 10 a.m. and returns at 2:30 p.m.

Peabody Farm Market 5 to 6:30 p.m. in front of Baker buildings downtown Peabody.

Tuesday

Florence Farm Market, 5 to 7 p.m. in Moses Shane Park, adjacent to US-50.

Wednesday

Rec commission trip for ages 8and older to Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center in Hutchinson. Admission $14 for all ages. Price includes tickets to IMAX-Dome Theater, planetarium show, Dr. Goddard’s Lab, and Hall of Space Museum. Bring sack lunch or money to buy lunch. Bus leaves at 8:45 a.m. and returns at 4 p.m.
