Canadian bluesman to play at McPherson

McPherson Opera House will be filled with melodies of Canadian bluesman Matt Anderson at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Anderson won the 2013 Euro Blues Award for best solo/acoustic act and the 2010 International Blues Challenge in Memphis.

His sound is a mix of high-energy guitar work and storytelling lyrics.
