Cards requested for 65th anniversary

A card shower has been requested for Jerry and Faye Makovec’s 65th wedding anniversary.

They were married May 7, 1960, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Marion. 

They have four children — Donita Turk of Baldwin City, Jeff Makovec of Halstead, Tim Makovec of Marion, and the late Joe Makovec — along with six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
