Waste Connection schedule will change

Peabody city office will maintain regular office hours on Christmas Eve Day and New Year’s Eve Day.

The office will close for Christmas and New Year’s, but open at the regular time on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

The City Council meeting regularly scheduled for the fourth Monday of the month will be held instead at 7 p.m. on Dec. 27 in the council room of the city building.

Waste Connections will put their holiday pickup schedule into effect for both Christmas and New Year’s.

Refuse pickup scheduled for collection on Dec. 28 has been rescheduled to Dec. 29. This will affect both regular trash and recyclables.

Refuse collection scheduled for Jan. 4 will be held on Jan. 5 instead.
