Derek Scheuerman, 203 E. 2nd St., Newton, July 8, probation violation, court ordered defendant to serve two 48 hours in custody of Marion County sheriff in July, probation to be terminated thereafter.

Joyce E. Loomis, 413 S. 4th St., Marion, June 10, pleaded not guilty to interference with law enforcement and two counts violation of protection order, pretrial conference was to be Aug. 12.

Richard D. Hill, 401 N. Olive St., Peabody, July 6, attempted criminal trespass, sentenced to six months supervised probation, probation may become unsupervised after 90 days and may be transferred to Harvey County, ordered to maintain employment, $203.

Donald J. Miller, 204 W. Main St., Burns, charge of child endangerment amended Aug. 13 to interference with law enforcement.

Kenneth Southworth, 2115 E. Bayley St., Wichita, found guilty July 6 of domestic battery, sentencing was to be Monday.

Andrew Michael Schaefer, 109 S. Birch St., Hillsboro, pleaded not guilty July 6 to attempted contribution to a child’s misconduct or deprivation, pretrial conference scheduled for Aug. 17.

Amber Williams, 908 Melvin St., Marion, five counts of giving a worthless check amended July 30 to 8 counts giving a worthless check.

Brent A. McInnis, 113 S. Kent Rd., Hutchinson, misdemeanor theft, sentenced July 6 to 18 months of supervised probation (probation may go to unsupervised if goes well), probation can be transferred to Reno County, not to enter liquor stores, must complete 20 hours community service, $563 (other fines waived). Restitution of $2,400.99 to Great Plains Federal Credit Union.

Marcus Daniel Elias Orear, 301 N. Main St., Hillsboro, pleaded not guilty July 8 to possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no proof of insurance, and transportation of liquor in a open container. Pretrial conference scheduled for Aug. 12.

Jeffrey Allen Miller, 406 S. Lincoln, Marion, pleaded no contest July 8 to domestic battery, sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, and can become unsupervised after 3 months.
