Joseph Ivan-Thurso Jones, 1344 Frontenac Rd., Park City, settled Aug. 19 with Gavin Shields, 2569 300th Rd., Lincolnville, defendant to pay victim $800 restitution for allegedly stealing three firearms, an Xbox game system, and a portable safe.

Jerrod Albert McKenzie pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine, remaining charges, including stealing four firearms, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, dismissed Sept. 15, sentencing set for Nov. 3.

Michael L. Myers, 301 S. Roosevelt St., Marion, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia Oct. 6.

Kenneth C. Jost, 1383 140th St., Marion, pleaded no contest to possession of drug paraphernalia Oct. 2, charge of possession of methamphetamine dismissed.

Melissa S. Varelman, 1284 3300 Ave., Abilene, charge of giving a worthless check dismissed Oct. 6, costs assessed to the state.

Kenneth D. Kliewer, 308 N. Washington St., Hillsboro, pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct (use of offensive language), found guilty, sentenced to six months unsupervised probation, $205.

Eveleo Thomas Newton, 321 S. Coble St., Marion, charge of domestic battery amended to disorderly conduct (use of offensive language) Oct. 16.

Christopher John Luce, 419 N. Freeborn St., Marion, aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer amended to assault of a law enforcement officer.

William Andrew Hickman Jr., charges of interference with law enforcement and driving while license suspended amended Oct. 17 to driving without valid license in possession.
