Jessy Dean Thouvenell, 325 N. Cedar St., Marion, pleaded not guilty April 20 to domestic battery against Nicole Kristin Reid, pretrial status hearing scheduled for May 13. Also pleaded not guilty to charge of criminal threat April 20, pretrial status hearing scheduled for May 13. Also pleaded not guilty April 20 to violating a protection order, pretrial status hearing scheduled for May 13.

Amber Bass, 136 S. Washington St., Burns, pleaded not guilty March 23 to possession of methamphetamines, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, and aggravated child endangerment, pretrial status hearing scheduled for May 13.

Kyle Reese Nuckles, 508 Remington Rd., Peabody, pleaded no contest April 20 to interfering with law enforcement, sentencing scheduled for June 1.

Hartney Eugene Hummer Jr., 2132 N. Park Place Ave., Wichita, pleaded no contest April 8 to criminal trespassing, sentencing scheduled for May 12.

Andrew Logan Meier, 211 E. Maria St., Lehigh, pleaded guilty April 8 to criminal trespassing before withdrawing guilty plea and pleading no contest; in exchange, count of criminal possession of a firearm dismissed with prejudice; sentenced to six months supervised probation consecutive to another case, fined $203. Meier also pleaded not guilty April 8 to seven counts: fleeing or eluding a police officer, reckless driving, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving on left side on crest of grade, improper movement requiring turn signal, driving without head lamps, and a stop sign violation. A jury trial for these charges is scheduled for May 28.

John A. Drow, 215 N. 2nd St., Marion, pleaded no contest April 8 to possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; in exchange charge of possession of methamphetamines dismissed with prejudice, sentencing scheduled for May 13.

Xavier Michael Calahan, 400 S. Jefferson St., Hillsboro, pleaded not guilty April 8 to misdemeanor theft, status hearing scheduled for May 13.

Brice Wright, 1305 S. High St., El Dorado, charges of residential burglary and misdemeanor theft amended April 20 to misdemeanor theft and criminal trespassing.

Kenneth Lee Newell, 242 Forest St., Marion, sentenced April 20 to 177 months in prison for two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, given lifetime parole upon completion of jail sentence, must register as a sexual offender per Kansas Offender Registration Act.
