Dahl appointed to nominating commission

Hillsboro native Don Dahl was appointed Thursday to serve the remainder of the late Janet Juhnke’s unexpired term on the Kansas Supreme Court Nominating Commission.

The nominating commission presents Gov. Sam Brownback with a group of three candidates whenever a vacancy opens. Dahl served with the U.S. Navy and Kansas House of Representatives.
