David Fast

David Fast, 86, died Thursday at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.  

He was born Feb. 27, 1930, to David and Elizabeth (Suderman) Fast at Adams, Oklahoma.

He married Martha Kroeker Dec. 26, 1963, in Hillsboro. She preceded him in death in 2012.

He then married Ella Wiebe on Aug. 17, 2013, in Hillsboro.  

Survivors include spouse, Ella Fast of Hillsboro; sons, Eddie Morales of Cincinnati and Paul Fast of Bolingbrook, Illinois.; step- sons, Carl Wiebe of Denver, Dale Wiebe of Pine Grove, California, Glenn Wiebe of Hillsboro, and Virgil Schmidt-Wiebe of St. Paul, Minnesota; step-daughters, Bev Wiebe of Hesston, Janice Wiebe-Ollenburger of Elkhart, Indiana; brothers, Harold Fast of Hillsboro and Jake Fast of Guymon, Oklahoma; sisters, Viola Funk and Mildred Rosendale, both of Corn, Oklahoma, and Rose Epp of Buhler; and 18 grandchildren.

A funeral service was Saturday at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.  

Interment was at Gnadenau Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.  Family received guests Saturday at the church.  

Memorials have been established with Mennonite Brethren Mission or Avant Ministries.
