Morgan Marshall, athletic leader for the past four years at Peabody High School, has been picked as a member of the volleyball squad at Southwestern College at Winfield this year where she is a freshman.

The Anti-Horse Thief Association visitors will see the opening football game next Friday with a game between Whitewater and Peabody called at 2:30.

Dr. E. H. Johnson reports the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McCreary on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Mrs. Richard Frobenius and son, Reno, visited several days last week with friends in Marion.
