Marion County Democratic Women met for lunch Sept. 21. Carolan McFarland was a guest.

A partial slate of officers was elected: Sue Clough, president; Janet Bryant, secretary, and Eileen Sieger, treasurer. A vice president will be confirmed by the October meeting.

Sue Clough led the business meeting. “Can Can” girls will be sought to perform for Kansas Day 2013.

Connie Fisher closed with devotions on “What God Wants” and gardening. Members brought containers of oleo to donate to Marion County Emergency Food Bank.
