There will be a dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Marion Christian Church to assist Doug and Sarah Spencer with the international adoption of their son, Grant.

Friends of the Spencers are organizing the meal, which will include sloppy joes, side dishes, and desserts.

Admission will be by donation.
