Oct. 23

6:49 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a woman in her 80s who fell and had a laceration from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical Center.

9:17 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported a 91-year-old female unable to get up and walk in the 2000 block of 140th to St. Luke Hospital.

2:28 p.m. — Marion Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at USD 408 Sports and Aquatics Center. It was a false alarm. Another false alarm tripped at 2:49 p.m.

Oct. 24

2:26 p.m. — Florence ambulance and Burns first response transported a man in his 50s with chest pain and a history of heart problems in the 300 block of Washington, Burns, to Newton Medical Center.

6:18 p.m. — Peabody ambulance and Marion ambulance transported a man in his 50s with left side numbness and a headache in the 300 block of Elm Street in Peabody to St. Luke Hospital.

8:48 p.m. — Burns Fire Department responded to a man with back and neck pain 12700 block of N.W. Boyer Road at Butler County’s request.

10:57 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a patient with a fall and knee pain in the 400 block of Floral Drive to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

Saturday

9:33 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported a man in his 80s passing blood clots with weakness in the 000 block of Lakeshore Drive to St. Luke Hospital. Marion Fire Department provided lifting assistance.

12:06 p.m. — Marion ambulance provided emergency transport from St. Luke Hospital to Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita.

1:24 p.m. — Marion rescue, Tampa ambulance, Lincolnville Fire Department, Lincolnville first response responded to a one-vehicle, one-patient accident one-quarter mile north of Lincolnville on U.S. 77. Lifestar helicopter ambulance was called but canceled. Tampa ambulance transported the patient to Herington Municipal Hospital.

Sunday

11:39 a.m. — Florence ambulance, Florence Fire Department, Florence rescue, Marion rescue, Marion ambulance, and Peabody ambulance responded to a one-vehicle four-patient rollover 3 miles north of the U.S. 50/77 junction on U.S. 77. Patients were transported to St. Luke Hospital.

Monday

8:33 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 600 block of South Lincoln Street after a medical alert company was unable to make contact after an alert button was pushed. No transport was needed.

10:01 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to U.S. 50 between Sunflower and Timber for a one-vehicle accident. No transport was needed.

10:40 a.m. — Goessel Fire Department responded to Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church for a report of a smoke detector going off. The smoke detector went off again at 12:35 p.m. Both were false alarms.

2:01 p.m. — Peabody Fire Department and Peabody ambulance responded to a combine and field fire at the intersection of Nighthawk and 110th, with a house north of the fire threatened. Hillsboro Fire Department was dispatched to aid firefighting.

9:08 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a fall victim complaining of back and right hip pain to Hillsboro Community Hospital.
