7:51 a.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman in her 50s who didn’t feel well and was pale from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical Center.
4:15 p.m. — Peabody fire responded to a controlled burn that grew out of control about ½ mile north of the intersection of 80th and Mustang Rds.
4:18 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to a controlled burn that grew out of control near the intersection of 230th and Alamo Rds.
5:01 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a man who had a grand mal seizure from Westview Manor in Peabody to a hospital. It was unclear from radio transmissions what hospital the man was taken to.
5:55 p.m. — Durham fire responded to a controlled burn that grew out of control near the intersection of 220th and Falcon Rds.
9:59 p.m. — Tampa fire responded to a controlled burn that grew out of control near the intersection of 340th and Falcon Rds.
April 2
5:47 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to a brush and grass fire.
6:04 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a person who had fallen and hurt their shoulder and hip from Parkside Homes to Hillsboro Community Hospital.
7:24 p.m. — Goessel fire responded to a controlled burn that grew out of control on 120th Rd. 1½ miles west of Indigo Rd., but the call was canceled when the owner extinguished it.
8:09 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a man in his 80s who had difficulty breathing from the 800 block of N. Olive St. to Newton Medical.
Thursday
3:43 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a person to Newton Medical. It was unclear from radio transmissions what the person’s age, gender, location, or condition were.
5:53 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took an elderly woman lying against a car in a garage from the 200 block of S. Ash St. to HCH. Hillsboro fire provided lifting assistance.
8:28 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita.
10:14 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a woman who drove into a ditch and hit her head on Indigo Rd. near 140th Rd. to HCH.
Friday
11:56 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man who was breathing but unresponsive from Bethesda Home in Goessel to Newton Medical.
3:40 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical.
9:27 p.m. — Marion fire responded to a report of the odor of gas in the 100 block of N. Freeborn St.
Saturday
6:54 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 300 block of N. Roosevelt St. for lifting assistance. No transport was made.
7:43 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and fire responded to a one-vehicle crash on Kanza Rd. at 250th Rd. No transport was made.
10:43 a.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman who had shortness of breath and rib pain from Marion Assisted Living to St. Luke.
10:44 a.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman who had a seizure from Westview Manor to St. Luke.
2:19 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to a controlled burn that grew out of control near the intersection of 230th and Eagle Rds.
5:19 p.m. — Goessel fire extinguished hot spots left from a fire near the intersection of 110th and Eagle Rds.
8:27 p.m. — Tampa fire responded to a controlled burn that grew out of control near the intersection of 290th and Quail Creek Rds.
Sunday
2:21 a.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman who had back pain and nausea from the 700 block of Sherman St. to St. Luke.
4:58 a.m. — Marion ambulance and fire, Hillsboro ambulance, Lincolnville first response, and Life Team helicopter responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash 1 mile south of Lincolnville on U.S. 56/77. The crash was originally reported to be on U.S. 56 between Marion and Hillsboro. Two patients were taken by ambulance to St. Luke.
8:27 a.m. — Florence fire responded to a tree on fire near the intersection of 130th and Timber Rds.
11:04 a.m. — Marion ambulance took a man who had a possible stroke from the 100 block of Coble St. to St. Luke.
7:22 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical.
8:44 p.m. — Marion fire responded to a controlled burn that grew out of control near the intersection of 190th and Alfalfa Rds.
Monday
6:18 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance, rescue, and fire and Marion ambulance responded to a fatal car vs. semi-truck crash at the intersection of Santa Fe St. and U.S. 56 east of Hillsboro. Gary J. Alleven of Marion died in the crash.
9:31 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the county lake to provide a standby for law enforcement. No transport was made.
10:10 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a person who had a fever from Bethesda Home in Goessel to Newton Medical.
11:37 a.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman with a blood-sugar problem from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical.
8:59 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a teenage girl who had a seizure from Bluejay Lanes to HCH.
