12:07 p.m. — Tampa ambulance and firefighters and Hillsboro firefighters responded to a one-vehicle accident on 290th Rd. between Mustang and Nighthawk Rds. A westbound vehicle crossed the road, struck a concrete bridge railing, and fell into the creek bed. The driver, Richard G. Hoye, 73, of Gypsum, died from injuries sustained in the accident; there were no passengers.

10:14 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a male in his 60s having an asthma attack from the 400 block of N. Ash St. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

11:51 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from EagleMed helicopter at Hillsboro Airport to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

5:27 a.m. — Peabody firefighters responded to a vehicle fire in the 600 block of N. Maple St.

8:53 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 500 block of N. Elm St. Peabody firefighters were dispatched to block the road at 5th and Spruce Sts. because of a downed power line. No transportation was provided.

11:11 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a female with breathing difficulties from the 400 block of N. Lincoln St. to St. Luke Hospital.

friday

12:30 a.m. — Peabody ambulance was paged for a male in his 40s who fell in the 700 block of N. Olive St.. Florence ambulance was dispatched at 12:33 a.m. when no Peabody EMTs responded to the page. The patient refused transportation.

12:51 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a male in his 40s from the 400 block of W. B St. to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Hillsboro firefighters provided lifting assistance.

1:58 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Newton Medical Center.

12:36 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters and ambulance responded to a fire in a vacant house in the 100 block of S. Washington St.

8:34 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Salina Regional Medical Center.

3:24 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and firefighters assisted a man who had fallen out of a wheelchair in the 400 block of W. B St. No transportation was needed.

5:24 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters and ambulance responded to a fire at Sonic Drive-In.

11:49 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to an individual with a possible shoulder injury in the 200 block of S. Date St. No transportation was needed.

2:02 p.m. — Florence ambulance transported a woman in her 50s from the 100 block of S. Nickerson St. in Burns to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.

7:01 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the Marion County Jail for a non-emergency call for a male subject. Transportation was not needed.

9:34 p.m. — Peabody ambulance provided advanced life support transfer of a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Via Christi St. Francis.

5:53 a.m. — Hillsboro fire department responded to a fire alarm at Tabor College. No fire was discovered, and the alarm was reset.

2:39 p.m. — Hillsboro fire department responded to a fire at the Hillsboro city brush pile.
