11:34 p.m. — Hillsboro emergency medical technicians transferred a patient from Parkside Homes to Hillsboro Community Hospital.
OCT. 15
10:49 a.m. — Marion EMTs responded to a report of a death at a Hillsboro Cove campsite. Dispatchers told EMTs a caller had refused to attempt to resuscitate an elderly man after he became unresponsive. EMTs remained at the scene until 12:25 p.m.
5:03 p.m. — Marion EMTs transported a 23-month-old from St. Luke Physician Clinic to Newton Medical Center.
5:28 p.m. — Hillsboro EMTs transferred a patient from Hillsboro Community to Newton Medical.
THURSDAY
1:48 p.m. — Marion EMTs transported to St. Luke Hospital a woman who became dizzy, fell, and cut her head at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 316 S. Cedar St.
5:15 p.m. — Marion EMTs transferred a patient from St. Luke to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis, Wichita.
8:52 p.m. — Hillsboro EMTs responded to a report of a 78-year-old man falling outside a home near 120th and Holly Rds. The patient declined transportation to a hospital.
FRIDAY
5:37 p.m. — Marion EMTs transported to St. Luke a woman who fell on rocks along the Marion County Lake shoreline. Marion firefighters helped lift the patient.
7:30 p.m. — Florence EMTs were dispatched to S. Washington St. in Burns for a report of a person suffering seizures. Dispatchers said they had paged Burns first responders but received no reply; the page was not recorded by the newspaper’s monitoring system. At 7:42 p.m., Burns firefighters asked whether there had been a page and informed dispatchers they also were en route. They arrived at 7:47; the ambulance, a minute later. The patient declined to be transported.
SATURDAY
1:53 a.m. — Hillsboro EMTs responded to a report of a possible drug overdose at Wash Line coin laundry, 323 N. Ash St. The patient initially declined to be transported to a hospital. EMTs did, however, inform Hillsboro Community about the call. A few seconds after reporting that they were leaving at 2:34 a.m., EMTs said the patient had developed chest pains, changed her mind, and consented to be transported to HCH.
1:36 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was on standby at a Tabor College football game until 4:45 p.m.

10:44 a.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to a smoke alarm at Tabor Townhouses. Firefighters said the alarm was triggered by cooking smoke.
9:39 p.m. — Tampa EMTs responded to the 500 block of Lincoln St. for a report of a woman with low blood sugar. The woman was transported to Herington Municipal Hospital.
9:53 p.m. — Marion EMTs were dispatched to the 700 block of S. Roosevelt St. for a report of a woman in her forties suffering seizures. The patient declined transportation by ambulance and went to St. Luke Hospital in a private vehicle.

11:51 a.m. — Burns first responders and Peabody EMTs responded to the 100 block of S. Washington St. for a report of a woman suffering dizziness. The patient was transported to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
3:54 p.m. — Ramona first responders and Tampa EMTs were dispatched to the 100 block of E. Crane St. in Lost Springs for a report of a man in his seventies who had been unable to keep food or liquids down for two days. The man was transported to Herington Municipal Hospital.
