According to fire and ambulance transmissions, monitored by the newspaper:

Jan. 6

11:01 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported an individual who walked in to the Marion police department to St. Luke Hospital. The newspaper’s system did not record any calls providing patient details.

12:12 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Wesley Medical Center.

3:36 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to a medical alarm alert at the 100 block of S. Date St. An EMT reported the alarm was from someone testing it.

8:49 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man in his 80s from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Newton Medical Center.

jan. 7

1:41 a.m. — After requesting information about wind speed, an office requested Peabody firefighters to respond to the city burn pit to extinguish an active fire.

Thursday

11:51 a.m. — A woman with breathing difficulties, possibly due to an allergic reaction to medication, was transported by Marion ambulance from the 200 block of N. Locust St. to St. Luke Hospital.

5:31 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a man in his 90s with weakness, fatigue, and low blood pressure to Wesley Medical Center. The newspaper’s system recorded no information on where the transport originated.

friday

9:55 a.m. — Simultaneous calls for two Marion ambulances were answered. One ambulance responded to the 200 block of N. 4th St. for a man in his 60s who needed assistance getting into a wheelchair. Upon arrival, EMTs requested Marion firefighters to provide lifting assistance.

A second ambulance responded to the 200 block of N. Locust St. for a man in his 50s reported to be weak and about to pass out from a severe cold.

One ambulance was recorded reporting arrival at St. Luke Hospital. It could not be determined which ambulance. Both ambulances were reported back at the station at 11:10 a.m.

7:29 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 500 block of W. Grand St. for a woman reporting low oxygen levels. The woman was not transported.

saturday

12:05 a.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to a fire alarm at Cedar Hall at Tabor College. No fire was discovered.

11:54 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 300 block of S. Lincoln St. for a possible “code black,” a term used when someone is deceased. Law enforcement requested a coroner at 12:01 p.m.

12:57 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to a fire alarm at Chisholm Trail Outfitters. No fire was discovered.

2:36 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded to 140th Rd. between Vista and Wagonwheel Rds. for a woman having a seizure. The woman was not transported.

3:03 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to a field fire on 160th Rd. west of Falcon Rd., which reportedly rekindled from a controlled burn.

8:16 p.m. — Peabody firefighters responded to a fire alarm at Peabody Care Center. No fire was discovered.

sunday

9:55 a.m. — Peabody ambulance and firefighters responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Indigo Rd. between 70th and 80th Rds. An individual with unspecified injuries was transported to Via Christi St. Francis.

8:11 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Newton Medical Center.

monday

11:49 a.m. — Marion ambulance was paged for a non-emergency transfer from Wesley Medical Center to St. Luke Living Center. At 12:11 p.m. the call was terminated.

1:09 p.m. — Peabody firefighters responded to the 1500 block of 59th Rd. for a controlled burn that had not been reported. At 1:27 p.m., firefighters requested mutual aid from Walton firefighters. A firefighter reported the blaze was under control at 2:46 p.m.

11:16 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman in her 80s with pain and numbness in her left arm from Bethesda Homes to Newton Medical Center.
