3:27 p.m. — Marion firefighters responded to a chimney fire in the 2100 block of Kruse St.
5:54 p.m. — An elderly woman who fell and hit her head was transported by Tampa ambulance from Pawnee Rd. between 350th and 360th Rds. to Herington Municipal Hospital.
Jan. 14
3:54 a.m. — Florence ambulance was dispatched to the 100 block of E. 9th St. for a man in his 60s who fell out of bed. The newspaper’s system did not record any calls reporting subsequent details about the call.

1:42 p.m. — Marion EMTs and firefighters provided lifting assistance for a woman in the 100 block of S. Billings St.
3:15 p.m. — Peabody firefighters responded to a small grass fire west of town along US-50.
8:46 p.m. — Upon investigation by Peabody firefighters, a fire alarm in the 600 block of N. Vine St. turned out to be a malfunctioning smoke alarm.

4:40 a.m. — A man in his 70s with a high temperature was transported by Peabody ambulance from the 700 block of N. Olive St. to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
4:40 p.m. — A Florence EMT responded to a report of a medical alarm in the 300 block of W. 11th St. Marion ambulance was dispatched, but the call was terminated when it was discovered the alarm was set off accidentally.

2:10 p.m. — A patient at St. Luke Hospital was transported by Marion ambulance to Via Christi St. Francis.
3:22 p.m. — A man in his 70s who fell from a ladder in his garage was transported by Hillsboro ambulance from the 700 block of S. Coble St. in Marion to St. Luke Hospital.
3:38 p.m. — A woman in her 70s who fell and hit her head was transported by Peabody ambulance from the 200 block of S. Lincoln St. in Hillsboro to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

4:29 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 200 block of S. Thorp St. for a woman in her 80s with nausea and dizziness. The woman was not transported.
11:32 a.m. — A Goessel first responder and Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 300 block of S. Fuller. St. for a man in his 70s having a seizure. The man was not transported.
2:31 p.m. — A woman in her 50s with a possible broken wrist was transported by Peabody ambulance from Quail Creek Rd. north of 60th Rd. to Newton Medical Center.
4:09 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to Hilltop Manor for an elderly man with breathing difficulties. The man refused transportation.

1:52 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to Hilltop Manor for an elderly man with breathing difficulties. The newspaper’s system did not record a call indicating whether the man was transported.
5:19 p.m. — A patient at Hillsboro Community Hospital was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Via Christi St. Francis.
