According to fire and ambulance transmissions, monitored by the newspaper:

Oct. 20

12:49 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 100 block of Lombard St. for a medical welfare check. Transport was not specified.

11:41 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 500 block of N. Marion St. in Florence for a man who had fallen and was unconscious. The man was transported to St. Luke Hospital and was later airlifted to an unspecified location.

11:59 a.m. — Tampa ambulance as first responders and Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 400 block of Lincolnville Ave. in Lincolnville for a possible drug overdose. Lincolnville fire were paged to set up a landing zone, and the woman was airlifted to an unspecified location.

3:23 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a basic-life-support patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical Center.

8:20 p.m. — Tampa ambulance transported a woman in her 60s having trouble breathing from the 700 block of Lawrence St. in Durham to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

9:22 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman in her 70s who was having hip pain from Parkside Homes to HCH.

Oct. 21

12:14 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Newton Medical.

3:44 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and Hillsboro rescue responded to 120th and Indigo Rds. for a woman who was driving, had a bad cough, and pulled over but was not able to move. She was transported to HCH.

8:10 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance performed a BLS transfer to St. Luke.

THURSDAY

2:57 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a man having back pains from the 600 block of Vine St. to St. Luke.

4:55 p.m. — Lost Springs fire was called to near US-56/77 at 360th Rd. after a brush fire they fought a few days prior was believed to have been rekindled. It was reported there was just smoldering in the hedgerow and nothing more, so Lost Springs was dismissed from the scene.

5:15 p.m. — Marion ambulance and Lincolnville first responders responded to an accident on US-56/77 north of 350th Rd. There were no transports.

6:04 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Wesley Medical Center.

11:20 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 200 block of N. Roosevelt St. for a patient who reportedly was intoxicated and having difficulty breathing. The patient was not transported.

Friday

12:47 p.m. — Since Hillsboro ambulance was on first responder status, Marion ambulance responded to the 200 block of Buller St. in Goessel for a possible suicidal person. They transported the person to Newton Medical.

4:44 p.m. — Peabody fire, Burns fire, and Peabody ambulance responded to a home in the 700 block of W. 3rd St. where smoke was reportedly coming from the top of the house. Keith Harsh, 80, died.

6:42 p.m. — Peabody fire responded to US-50 near Peabody after someone called in that their engine was on fire, but it wasn’t anymore and just wanted someone to come double check it.

7:07 p.m. — Florence first response, acting as standby at the Peabody-Burns football game, called for Peabody ambulance for an injured football player. He was transported to Newton Medical.

7:40 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 700 block of Elm St. in Peabody for a man who was intoxicated. He was transported to St. Luke.

Saturday

12:14 p.m. — Peabody fire responded to the 700 block of W. 3rd St. for smoke filling the house. Peabody fire took care of the smoke and was released from the scene.

1:33 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and Hillsboro fire responded to 160th and Limestone Rds. for a one vehicle injury accident. The person was transported to HCH.

3:44 p.m. — Marion ambulance as first responders and Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 1500 block of Victory Ln. in Marion for an elderly woman not feeling well. She was transported to St. Luke.

10:39 p.m. — Peabody fire responded to 60th Rd. one mile west of Peabody for a tree on fire.

sunday

11:18 a.m. — Florence ambulance responded to the 200 block of W. Main St. in Burns for a pregnant woman who fell. The woman refused transport.

2:51 p.m. — Peabody fire responded to US-50 west of Peabody for a semi on fire. Walton fire was called out as mutual aide.

3:38 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported an elderly woman not feeling well from the 1510 block of Victory Ln. to St. Luke.

4:01 p.m. — Peabody fire reported to dispatchers that a charter bus on US-50 about quarter of a mile before Mustang Rd. attempted to turn around on the highway while traffic was stopped for a semi fire. Sheriff deputies didn’t find the charter bus, so they left the scene.

4:13 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to north of the Peabody water tower where an elderly man had fallen down in a field. Peabody ambulance helped the man back into his house. The call was a non-transport.
