According to fire and ambulance transmissions monitored by the newspaper:

Oct. 11

11:27 a.m. — Goessel first response responded to the 600 block of E. Marion Ave. for a call from an alarm company saying a button had been pressed but no one was responding. Contact was eventually made by the alarm company, and Goessel was dismissed.

1:19 p.m. — Tampa ambulance and Durham first response responded to near the intersection of K-15 and 300th Rd. for a man who was kicked in the leg by a horse and was unconscious. He was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

1:40 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was called to the 100 block of N. Jefferson St. for a woman who had passed out. Transportation was not specified.

2:29 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was en route to an unspecified place for an unspecified reason. They were then en route to Wichita at 3:01 p.m.

Oct. 12

5:17 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 100 block of E. Main St. in Marion for a woman in her 70s who had fallen. No transportation was provided.

9:58 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 500 block of E. Main St. for a woman who had fallen. She was transported to St. Luke Hospital.

12:05 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to Marion County Lake for a woman who had broken her arm west of the lake office. She was transported to St. Luke.

8:06 p.m. — Marion fire responded to St. Luke to assist with a landing zone for a helicopter.

Thursday

3:24 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and Goessel first response responded to the 200 block of N. Wheat St. in Goessel for a woman not feeling well. She was transferred to Newton Medical.

9:42 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Wesley Medical Center.

11:23 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to fire alarms going off at the Cedar dorms at Tabor College. There was no fire.

friday

8:18 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 600 block of N. Chestnut St. for a man who was unresponsive but was coming around. No transportation was provided.

3:01 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 500 block of N. Freeborn St. for a person who had fallen. The person was transported to St. Luke.

4:27 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to Adams and B St. for a fire alarm going off at Tabor College.

SATURDAY

5:54 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to HCH to assist with a person having a heart attack.

6:17 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the Hillsboro airport to pick up Lifeteam medics. They went back to the airport at 6:49 p.m.

9:21 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was en route to St. Luke in Marion for an unspecified reason.

SUNDAY

12:57 p.m. — Peabody ambulance reported themselves as on scene at an unspecified location for an unspecified reason. They transported a person to Newton Medical.

4 p.m. — Florence ambulance as first response and Peabody ambulance responded to the 200 block of 11th St. in Florence for a woman who was “out of it,” hot, and sweaty. She was transported to St. Luke.

monday

1:20 p.m. — Marion ambulance was en route to an unspecified location for an unspecified reason. Fourty minutes later, they were en route to Salina Regional Health Center.

1:35 p.m. —Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 200 block of Miller St. in Marion for a man in his 30s having extreme chest pain. He was transported to St. Luke.

3:56 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance, Marion fire, Hillsboro fire, and Florence fire responded to the 100 block of S. Freeborn St. for a house fire. All units except Marion fire were dismissed. Marion fire brought a thermal imaging camera, but nothing was reported on dispatches.
