Aug. 28

9:48 a.m. — A 89-year-old female was feeling very weak and lethargic in the 200 block of Commercial St., Goessel. One first responder from Goessel and Hillsboro ambulance were called, the patient was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro.

11:49 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke Hospital was taken to Salina Regional Medical Center by Marion ambulance.

4:12 p.m. — A patient from Newton Medical Center taken to 700 block S. Freeborn by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:49 p.m. — Law enforcement requested Marion ambulance for standby in the area of 190th and Remington Rds.

Wednesday

1:22 p.m. — An 86-year-old female fell in the clinic in downtown Hillsboro. The patient was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

2:36 p.m. — A 60-year-old female fell in the 1500 block of Victory Lane, Marion ambulance helped the patient up. She refused to be taken to a hospital.

3:23 p.m. — A 19-year-old female was having possible seizures in the 1500 block of Loren St., Marion. She was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

3:24 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

7:28 p.m. — A 40-year-old female was having an asthma attack and chest pains in the 500 block of D St., Hillsboro. She was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:07 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was taken to Via-Christie St. Frances in Wichita by Marion ambulance.

11:48 p.m. — A 52-year-old male having chest pain at Westview Manor was taken to NMC by Peabody ambulance.

thursday

4:49 p.m. — A 64-year-old male was lethargic and unable to walk in the 200 block of Elm St., Peabody. Peabody ambulance asked to meet with Hillsboro ambulance regarding the patient, then continued on to NMC with one extra crew member.

6:16 p.m. — A deputy requested for Marion ambulance to respond to the area of 250 Upland Rd. for assistance, no patients were taken to a hospital.

10:25 p.m. — A 72-year-old female had fallen in the 70 block of Lakeshore Dr., and was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

friday

1:04 a.m. — A patient at St. Luke was taken to Wesley by Marion ambulance.

1:35 a.m. — A patient from HCH was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to Wesley.

4:35 a.m. — A 86-year-old male with a bleeding tooth in the 400 block of S. Washington St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

2:39 p.m. — A patient from HCH was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

4:12 p.m. — A patient had fallen outside and needed assistance getting into the house in the 500 block of N. Coble St., Marion. They were taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

9:09 p.m. — Marion fire and ambulance were called to an accident in the area of Upland and 190th Rds. There was no patient and everyone was cleared from the scene.

9:48 p.m. — Per officer request, Marion ambulance responded to the 1000 block of Weldon St., Marion, to check on the patient from the earlier accident. The patient refused to be taken to a hospital.

saturday

5:55 a.m. — A female had fallen and needed assistance getting up in the 2800 area of 230th Rd. She refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

2:24 p.m. — A patient from St Luke’s was taken to Wesley by Marion ambulance.

11:03 p.m. — Durham Fire, first responder, Hillsboro ambulance and firefighters were called to an accident in the area of Diamond and 240th Rds. One patient was taken to HCH by a personal vehicle; after a 45-minute search for the crash site, a second victim was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance after being found walking on the road.

sunday

2:43 a.m. — A patient from HCH was taken to Wesley by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:23 a.m. — Hillsboro fire was called to Tabor College townhouses for a fire alarm going off that was a false alarm.

2:38 p.m. — An 80-year-old male with a previous head injury had fallen out of bed at 1600 block Alamo Rd. Goessel first responders and Hillsboro ambulance responded. He was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

monday

1:40 a.m. — A male patient in the 300 block Meadow Lane, Goessel, was having trouble catching his breath. He was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:33 a.m. — A female patient in the area of 140th who had ingested a half bottle of pills was taken by Marion ambulance to NMC.

9:31 a.m. — A patient from HCH was taken to Wesley by Hillsboro ambulance.

1:50 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was taken to NMC by Marion ambulance.

3:20 p.m. — An male received a cut on his arm after rolling a tractor in the 1200 area of 140th Rd. He was taken to St. Frances in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:35 p.m. — A 73-year-old female was feeling weak and having stomach pain in the 1500 block of Victory Lane, Marion. She was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

8:29 p.m. — A gas leak was reported in the 200 block of W. Grand St., Hillsboro. Hillsboro firefighters found a Freon leak.

9:34 p.m. — A house fire in the 200 block of N. Lincoln St., Marion, was responded to by Marion firefighters. Hillsboro and Peabody firefighters were called for mutual aid, and Marion ambulance was called for stand-by. They remained on scene for about 6 hours.
