Burns United Methodist Church had a farewell supper June 23 for Pastor Jim and Joan Bush. Among the guests were Marvin and Sherol Nightengale, Marie Clark, Ronald and Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Joyce Kyle.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers and Joyce Kyle attended David Thiessen’s funeral June 25 at Burns Countryside Church.
Marie Clark accompanied Mack and Shayla Clark and Hadlye to Wabaunsee to help Shane and Michelle Nelson celebrate their 25th anniversary June 21.
Ty and Brooke Gaines spent the night June 21 at the home of Ronnie and Patti Gaines. The next day, Ty went to El Dorado to a golf meeting, and Brooke stayed with her grandparents.
Burns Senior Citizens were hosts June 21 to the Marion County Senior Citizens Board.
