Food donors overlooked

To the editor:

Your Food Bank article was very good and informative, but I find it interesting that you only mention three churches by name who donate on a regular basis, and none of them are in Marion!

It’s a shame that you chose to identify those three churches and left out other generous congregations. The church I attend, Eastmoor United Methodist Church, donates between 200 and 300 pounds of food that is collected the second Sunday of every month. We don’t donate to be recognized for it, but you seemed to think certain churches needed to be recognized.
