Erica Frederick and Michael McCune, together with their parents Paul and Tamela Frederick of Peabody and David and Carolyn McCune of Valley Center, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Peabody-Burns High School and will graduate from Wichita State University in December.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Valley Center High School. He attended Wichita State University and is now a member of the Air National Guard.

The wedding will take place Oct. 11, 2013 at the Round Barn in Derby.
