Freeland turning 90

Edla (Mostrom) Freeland will celebrate her birthday with family and friends from 3 to 5 p.m. March 15 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Manhattan. Freeland, a former teacher in the Peabody-Burns school district, turns 90 March 18.

Those planning to come are encouraged to bring memories and photos to share at the reception.

Freeland has one son, David Freeland and wife Linda of Salina; two daughters, Gloria Freeland and husband Arthur Vaughan of Manhattan and Gaila Chambi and husband Humberto of La Paz, Bolivia; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
