Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to a Veterans Day program in Emporia Nov. 7. Brooke Gaines came home with them after performing in the program. Dinner guests on Nov. 8 were Dusty Gaines, Chris Graffe, and Ben Kymer of Wichita; Sally Abel, Richard and Vickie Gantz and family, and Jean Gaines of Perry; Shelly and Ben Harper of Inman; and Herb Gaines. On Nov. 9 all but Chris Graffe and Ben Kymer were dinner guests of Herb Gaines. Trent Robb of Lindsborg joined them. The men went hunting. That evening Ty and Kim Gaines came for supper with Ronnie and Patti and took Brooke home.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers attended a birthday party for Autumn Padgett on Nov. 8 at the Florence Park. On Nov. 9, they attended the 60th wedding anniversary of Jack and Jerry Cornell at the senior center in El Dorado. Sandy Sayers visited them on Nov. 11.
Wayne and Gloria Handle of Baxter Springs were Nov. 7 lunch and overnight guests of Marie Clark. They attended a baby shower for Kaylee Looney Nov. 8 in Marion. Kaylee and Garrett Looney live at Sterling.
Mitch and Cathy Foote of Manhattan were Nov. 7 overnight guests of Marvin and Sherol Nightengale. The following day they all went to the Trinity Church soup dinner in El Dorado.
Nathan Koehn was a Nov. 9 dinner guest of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, and Carolee.
Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle went to the Cassoday supper Nov. 8 with Dorene Kirkpatrick and Cindy Holt.
Dinner guests of Mary Langenegger and Gary on Nov. 9 were Greg and Zeola Langenegger, Dan and Alice Stucky, and Joyce Kyle. The women went to a baby shower for Emily Unruh in the afternoon at the Burns Community Center.
Carol Waggy called on Joyce Kyle the morning of Nov. 10. Bob and Becky Kyle called in the late afternoon.
