The third annual Giving Tuesday and Winterfest will be 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 27 at Peabody-Burns High School.

A soup supper will be offered by donation at 5 p.m., and PBHS Voices will perform holiday music. The art club will display its work.

Organizations or programs that received Peabody Community Foundation grant money will be available to provide information on their projects. Contributions made to PCF will be matched by MKC, Vintage Bank, and an anonymous individual.

The event will include drawings for four gift baskets and gift certificates donated by Peabody area businesses.

Beginning at 7 p.m., a video promoting Peabody will be shown, the final rounds of a basketball shooting contest and a scrimmage of winter sports team will take place. Cheerleaders and pep band will display their talents.

Gift basket winners and PCF grant awards to Peabody teachers will be announced.

Every November Tuesday has been a Giving Tuesday. Next Tuesday’s event will be a care facilities shower. Collection points are Peabody Market, Peabody Senior Center, Vintage Bank, and schools.
