Hannah Riffel

Former Tampa resident Hannah Marie Riffel, 79, died July 28 at Waterloo, Iowa.

Services were Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Lincolnville. Burial followed at Lincolnville Cemetery. Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion, was in charge.

Born July 12, 1935, in Marion, to Gottfried and Hannah Brunner Keil, she married Eldred Riffel on April 13, 1957, in Lincolnville. She moved to Iowa about 20 years ago.

She worked as a secretary in an automobile dealership.

Her husband, Eldred, died in 1983. Her daughter, Carla, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a companion, Frank Fenner, of Jesup, Iowa; sons Jeff and James Riffel and daughter Jane Pigorsch, all of Lincolnville; a brother, Henry Keil of Halstead; and six grandchildren.
