Hilda Seifert

Hilda Seifert, 94, passed Jan. 11, 2018, at St. Luke Living Center in Marion.

Hilda was born April 23, 1923, to Paul and Ida Domke in Hillsboro, Kansas. Hilda graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1941 and moved to Chicago, where she lived until 1945 when she married Leland Seifert of Marion.

Hilda’s favorite pastimes were gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of Strassburg Baptist Church.

Hilda is survived by her sons, Chuck and wife, Gloria, of Marion; and Don and wife, Marilee, of Coolidge, Arizona; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Leland; sons Kenny and Dean; three brothers; and two sisters.

A memorial service for Hilda will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at Strassburg Baptist Church, 2249 Pawnee Rd., Marion, Kansas. Cremation has been performed.
