Jim Beisel and Shirley (nee Pearson) Schlesener were married in Greenville, Miss. on Aug. 30, 1987, where Jim worked for Boeing Aircraft on the A-6.

They moved to the Burns area in April 1988 when Jim transferred to Boeing Wichita. In 1992 after Jim was medically retired, they moved to the country north of Peabody, and into town in October of 2000.

Shirley worked in the Marion County Special Education Cooperative from 1992 until 1998 when their youngest son graduated.
