Judy E. Schroeder, 73, of Hillsboro died April 1, 2012, in Marion.

She was born Sept. 4, 1938, in Goessel to Jake and Bertha (Epp) Ratzlaff. She was a nurse at Salem Hospital.

She married JayDean Schroeder on Oct. 15, 1961, in Goessel. He preceded her in death in 2005.

She is survived by two sons, James Schroeder of Marion and Joel Schroeder of Newton; four sisters, June Hiebert of Goessel, Lois Musser of Newton, Diane Voth of Newton, and Barbara Jost of Hesston; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services are at 3 p.m. today at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Loyal Martin officiating. Burial is at 2 p.m. today in the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, Hillsboro.

The family received guests Tuesday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
