Junior Warriors lose 48-8

The Peabody-Burns Junior High School Junior Warriors opened at home Thursday. The team lost to Solomon 48-8. A week off greets the squad and then they will play Goessel on Sept. 19 at home.
Solomon earned the first 8 points of the contest with 4:38 on the clock in the first.
On a next series, a long PBJHS drive ended with Bryant Young scoring on a 2 yard run with 9.5 seconds left in the quarter. Young also added the 2 point conversion tie the game 8-8.
Solomon offense added 6 mores scores in the contest, three in the second quarter and 3 in the second half.
