Konley Lowell Harding

Konley Lowell Harding, 21, of Manhattan, formerly of Burdick, Kan., passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012.

He was born July 21, 1991 in Emporia, Kan., to Kelsey Leon and Lois Irene (Miser) Harding.

Konley was a graduate of Centre High School class of 2009. He was attending Manhattan Technical College. Konley loved hunting with his dad and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed rodeos, roping, working cattle and life itself. Konley lived his life with zest … he never knew a stranger … he was kind and loving and loyal.

Konley was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Miser Harding; and his grandparents, Wayne and Mary Lou Miser and Dick Harding.

He is survived by his parents, Kelsey and Candace; two brothers, Kordell Harding, of Herington and Kendall Harding, of the home; grandmother, Sue Harding of Thayer, Kan.; girlfriend, Kaite Benoit; uncles, aunts, other family, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in the Herington Community Building, 810 S. Broadway.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 137 N. Union St., Council Grove, KS.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Konley Harding Memorial Fund, which will be used to assist with funeral expenses.
