The Peabody-Burns Warriors came away winless from a triangular tournament Sept. 23 at Wakefield.
In its first game against host Wakefield, Peabody-Burns was defeated 25-19, 25-16. Brianna Larsen led the team with 6 kills, followed by Katy Benson, who had 5. Rylie McDowell tallied 7 assists. Mallory Harris led the team in digs with 9.
The Lady Warriors went on to play the Centre Cougars, and were defeated 25-12, 25-11. Larsen’s 2 kills led the team, and Benson led the team in assists with 3. Harris led the team in digs with 4.
The Lady Warriors competed in a tournament at Olpe Saturday. They lost to Olpe 25-8, 25-12, and to Goessel 25-13, 25-12.
Results for other Peabody-Burns games this week could not be obtained. The Lady Warriors also played a triangular tournament at Elyria Christian on Tuesday. The Lady Warriors will host a home dual on Oct. 7.
