WEDDING:   LeBlanc, Hett

Ann Kathryn LeBlanc and Nickolas Aaron Hett were married June 16 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Manhattan.

Parents of the couple are Aaron and Lanell Hett of Marion and Kevin and Renee LeBlanc of Manhattan.

Grandparents of the couple are Bruce and Sandra Hett of McPherson, Edith Chaput of Salina and Shirley LeBlanc of Clyde.

Fr. Don Zimmerman officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a strapless ivory gown covered with lace.

Beth Troutt of Wichita attended her friend as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brooke Chavey of Lenexa, Nancie Halfman of Colorado, Lindsay Hett of Marion, and Courtney Chavey of Lenexa.

The groom wore an ivory tux with satin trim. Travis Hett of Marion served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jeffery Richmond of Marion, Heath Tajchman of Herington, Mike Cullinane of McPherson, and Adam LeBlanc of Lawrence.

Kathy Harmes of Manhattan was organist. Lori Carson of Manhattan was the soloist. Lighting the candles preceding the ceremony were Courtney Pavlik of McPherson, cousin of the groom, and Rebecca LeBlanc of Clyde, cousin of the bride.

Logan Hankin of Morristown, N.J., cousin of the groom was the ring bearer. Honorary ring bearer was Miles Tajchman, cousin of the groom and godson of the bride and groom. The flower girl was the groom’s cousin Tandice Tajchman of Herington.

Emma Tajchman of Herington served as the bride’s personal attendant.

Eucharistic ministers were Roman and Virginia Albert of Mannford, Okla., and Marcel Tajchman of McPherson. Brad Tajchman of Hoisington served as lector.

Guests were seated by Dave DeForest of Marion, Andy Hett of McPherson, Jared Pavlik of McPherson, and Kenton LeBlanc of Clyde.

Amy Tajchman of Gardner, Shawna Stokes of Lenexa, Lauren Weber of Lenexa, and Caitlin Burns of Lenexa attended the guest register.

Gifts were received by Riley Hett and Trey Hett of McPherson and Kollin LeBlanc of Clyde.

Charles and Kay Tajchman of Marion and Mark and Julie Chavey of Lenexa were hosts at the reception, which was held following the ceremony at the Clarion Hotel in Manhattan.

Those serving at the reception were Carmelita Simon of Canton, Amy Pavlik of McPherson, Kristi Hett of McPherson, Stephanie LeBlanc of Clyde, and Jeri Taylor of Texas.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Marion High School and is employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Peabody. The bride is a 2006 graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School, Overland Park. She is employed by National Health Care Corporation in Haysville as a consultant dietitian.

Following a wedding trip to San Diego, Calif., the couple lives at 3650 N. Woodlawn, Apt. 311, Wichita, KS 67220.
