Peabody’s newest business, E & J Retail Liquor, will open at 5 p.m. Friday. The liquor store has occupied and remodeled the building at 127 N. Walnut St., most recently occupied by Sammy Jo’s Shake-N-Bistro.

Regular hours for the liquor store will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
